Learn to paint roses in a 'flat' gouache vintage style that's trending now yet rarely taught!
Your class is hosted by senior designer, Kat with demonstrations by our master painter, Zoom. Shot inside our busy working studio in Sydney, Australia.
'FLAT' GOUACHE ROSES ARE IN STYLE
Vintage-style 'flat' gouache-painted roses made a major comeback on the runways for spring 2020. Everyone from Richard Quinn to Dries Van Noten showcased a version of the pretty print.
It's a technique that involves the layering of pre-mixed colours to build beautiful dimension. Paint is applied dry on dry for clean and defined colours and tones.
